These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WarrantyTracker iOS application ("the app") developed by Aleksandar Milidrag. By using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

WarrantyTracker helps you track product warranties, scan receipts using AI, and receive expiry reminders. The app is available with both free and premium tiers.

2. Free and Premium Tiers

Free Tier:

• Track up to 5 warranties
• 5 AI receipt scans
• Manual warranty entry

Premium Yearly ($9.99/year):

• Unlimited warranties
• Unlimited AI receipt scanning
• Expiry reminders via push notifications
• 7-day free trial for eligible users

Premium Lifetime ($23.99 one-time):

• All Premium features, forever
• One-time purchase, no recurring charges

3. Purchase & Subscription Terms

Yearly Subscription:

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• A 7-day free trial is available for eligible users. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
• Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of your selected plan.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Lifetime Purchase:

• The lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-recurring payment.
• Once purchased, Premium features are unlocked permanently on your Apple ID.
• No refunds are available after purchase, except as required by applicable law.

4. Account

You may use the app anonymously or sign in with Apple or Google. If you sign in, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen, which permanently removes all your data.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when entering warranty details
• Use the app only for its intended purpose of tracking warranties and receipts
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or interfere with the app's functionality
• Not use the app for any unlawful purpose

6. AI Receipt Scanning

The AI-powered receipt scanning feature uses Apple's on-device Vision and Foundation Models technology to extract product and warranty information from receipt images. All processing happens locally on your device — no receipt data is sent to external servers. This feature requires a compatible device (iPhone 15 Pro or later) with Apple Intelligence enabled. The feature is provided on a best-effort basis. The accuracy of extracted information depends on the quality and clarity of the receipt image. You should verify all AI-extracted information before relying on it.

7. Warranty Information Disclaimer

Important: WarrantyTracker is a record-keeping tool. The warranty information stored, displayed, or suggested by the app (including on-device AI extractions and bundled warranty duration estimates) is for your personal reference only and does not constitute legal advice or a guarantee of warranty coverage. Always refer to your original warranty documentation and contact the manufacturer or retailer for definitive warranty terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Aleksandar Milidrag and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WarrantyTracker and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, missed warranty deadlines, or inaccurate AI-generated information. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
